How many slurpee flavors are there

To say that the 7-Eleven Slurpee has been present in more moments of my life than many of my close friends is not an exaggeration.

This icy beverage plays a role in several milestones. Where did I go right after my high school graduation? Where have I gone on too many birthdays to count? You guessed it, to get a free, large Slurpee, courtesy of George the owner of my local 7-Eleven. If the fact that I'm on a first-name basis with the owner and have shared life stories with him over a medium-sized Slurpee is any indication, the 7-Eleven Slurpee holds a special place in my heart.

With my credentials in order, let's get to the list. Here are the seven best 7-Eleven Slurpee flavors, ranked. I love Cherry Pepsi, I really do. Unfortunately, the 7-Eleven Slurpee version of one of my favorite drinks tends to fall into the realm of disappointment. I tried this flavor on multiple occasions, and I thought it was pretty tasty. But, it is nowhere near the triumph of its soda counterpart. Sour Grape Nutritional info Thick arrow pointing right Heart.

The ratio of coconut to pineapple was solid. Although it could've used a richer flavor and texture, this option wasn't overly sugary, sweet, or fruity and was still quite creamy. I would love to drink this on a beach somewhere tropical, maybe even with some rum in it. But compared to some of the others, this flavor was so sweet and tasted quite artificial, like a snow cone. It was more like a maraschino cherry than a real one, so keep that in mind when choosing the flavor.

When I initially saw this peach flavor, I thought it would taste overly sugary, like artificially flavored candy, but I actually found it balanced and refreshing. I've always been team blue raspberry since the option encapsulates all of my favorite berry flavors — particularly raspberry — and combines them with a zesty, citrusy touch.

It was super sweet, yet perfectly balanced by the tangy notes, slight carbonation, and refreshing aftertaste. Its bright-blue color also sets it apart from red fruit flavors, like cherry or strawberry.

While some chains differ from others with flavors that bounce in and out of circulation, we're taking into account all of them - everything that can be found across North America. The thing about Slurpee flavors is that usually, the soda-inspired flavors are the best, hands-down. In the case of Black Cherry Pepsi, though, it's lacking a little bit of that oomph that we'd expected following the classic Coke flavor.

The black cherry is only a whisper among what tastes like watered-down sugar syrup, with only the slightest hint of that delightful carbonation that makes us feel as though we're drinking a fully-iced Pepsi. It's okay, but it's nothing special - take a pass on this one and try one of the others first.

Blue Raspberry is delightful in the same sense that a Sour Patch Kid or a Jolly Rancher might be; it's great for the first half and then a bit lacking and tired by the second. Except in the case of Slurpees, this flavor is unbelievably sweet which overshadows the actual flavor quite a bit. If nothing else, this flavor is better for mixing in order to temper down some of that super strong, sweet berry flavor.

It should also be noted that this flavor has a strange side effect: a blue tongue for a full 24 hours, at least. With that being said, this Slurpee flavor actually does a pretty good job in uniting the two to create something that we could totally envision pouring some rum into to make a solid adult drink.
